A month later, still pending. on line chat says they can't update, phone calls take forever for someone to answer then they put you on hold and hang up. I'm over it. Will never order from them or recommend.
Terrible service. My $500 glasses have been preparing for shipping almost 2 months and still not ready, Customer service always say the same - we don't have any info when you will receive it. You gonna get blind before you receive any glasses from that service!

I wish there was a no star option. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! First off i did read the company takes a bit longer to ship. I was ok with an extra week as stated before delivery but that week has now hit several weeks. I orderd and used my contact benifits a month ago and still no contacts. Ups tracking shows the package was delivered to usps facility in which usps says they have not received. I have contacted eyeconic, ups, usps and vsp provider( never use because they are the ones who recommended and apparently founded eyeconic) all correspondence say give us 8/10 days to investigate. I cannot cancel order and use my benefits elsewhere. I am just stuck with going to purchase more contacts at a trusted business straight out of pocket. Please dont be like me! Read these reviews and take your time and money somewhere else.
This was my first time ordering from Eyeconic. It took a while to receive my glasses but I waited patiently feeling like the wait would be worth it. When I received my glasses, the frames were incorrect. I mailed the glasses back and received my second set of glasses. The lenses were not the ones I ordered, so I was told that I could send them back and this would be the last time I could activate "my warranty." I am peeved how much time and energy it has taken to get new glasses and Eyeconic doesn't seem to care because they are just following company policy. Do yourself a favor and find another company because you will probably not get what you ordered on your first or second try. I gave them two chances and now I'm done.
I tried Eyeconic this year because I needed to renew contacts and didn't want to spend time onsite at a Vision Care location because of the pandemic. I was nervous about negative reviews but I really struggled to find a place online that accepted my insurance provider (Cigna Vision). I'm happy to say that my experience was great! I signed up with Eyeconic and ordered the same brand of contacts, filling in my prescription details and attaching a photocopy of my prescription. From the time I signed up and placed an order, it took two days to validate my prescription, two days to ship, and only one day to get to me with the fastest shipping method. Having read other reviews I was surprised to find new contacts at my doorstep in less than a week. Here's hoping it's a positive trend. There aren't many options for working with insurance online and I couldn't find any other that was so painless. Next time I need to order online I won't hesitate to choose Eyeconic again!
My first order was delivered incorrect. Eyeconic arranged a return and exchange, and I was satisfied with that. However, my second order arrived incorrect and without the progressive lenses I purchased. I was told that they could not correct the order a second time, and they would not even refund the extra money that was paid for progressive lenses. I can't see using Eyeconic again. :(
Update: Refund received. Would not recommend this company however.
Original Review: This company is bad. Placed an order with them 60 days ago, only because they are connected to my vision provider, VSP. The fact that VSP endorses this company should be investigated (are they getting some sort of cash bonus on the back end?). I thought this was a reputable company based on the VSP endorsement, and only used them as it tied directly to my vision benefits due to their direct "partnership", where your benefits are subtracted instantly from the total bill, instead of having to file a claim and wait for reimbursement. Placed an order weeks ago and status is still "pending", which I check on every few days). I am now going to cancel my order. Anything higher than 1 star review is probably written by an employee or the 1% of people that have had a good experience with this company. It's that bad. This company should not be in business. If they can't keep up with their order fulfillment they need to A) stop advertising and, B) reconsider if they should actually be running a business. Legitimately a crazy experience placing my order. I could have patiently waited a few extra weeks, even though slightly unreasonable, if you pretended like my order is being worked on. Reading the reviews of this site says it all. I haven't had an experience this bad in a while. This business doesn't have the means to run efficiently and should not be taking on new customers.

Thank you for writing me back. I emailed customer service and was told I will be receiving a full refund. Apparently an email was sent to me that confirmed my eye prescription was validated (maybe went to junk mail), but my online order in your system did not update that status, which is what I kept checking, it just said, "pending". So that probably should be something on your end to consider changing. That said, at the time of cancellation request, my order never started. So there are some serious order fulfillment delays. Will report back when I see the refund hit my credit card.
Took forever to get my glasses
Then a small piece broke on arm 3 months after getting them. Too two weeks for a response about what to do. Then 2 more weeks to say here is a mailing label send them back. Really my only way to see.
Then another email 2 weeks later that's why you should have 2 pair, if you wear them while they are broken you can void the warranty. Then check the website out to buy another pair.
Horrible customer service an response. Never ever again will I ever use this ridiculous company
Wish I had found these reviews before ordering. I ordered on January 17 and my order has been in “lab processing” for 3 weeks now. I have tried emailing eyeconic but of course no response. Now my insurance benefits have been used for the year and I have no clue when or if I’ll even get my glasses. Eyeconic could use a little professionalism and at least keep their customers up to date on their orders.

In the same boat as everyone else who wrote a review in 2021. Sadly my insurance company VSP recommends them! I’m going to see if I can cancel my order because it has been 5 weeks at this point and they’re using the Covid BS line about delays.
This is a follow-up to my 1-25-21 Review. I called back to VSP yesterday and talked to a representative and a supervisor. I basically said I ordered my glasses on 12-31-20 and still have not received them. I've been told by Eyeconic that I would be lucky to receive them maybe the second week of February. I told the VSP lady this was unacceptable and I need my glasses now. That this has gotten beyond ridiculous. They put me on hold and called Eyeconic and was told this. My glasses were sent to a Lab in NY to be made!!! Eyeconic is in California. Then my glasses were mailed to Eyeconic in California. Allegedly they are sitting in their distribution department which is 2 weeks behind. Then they will mail them to me in Charlotte NC. This is clear as mud and logistically makes no sense. The representative said I was the 5th person she had spoken to yesterday with the exact same issue. To the people that act like this is normal to wait 30-45 days plus to receive your glasses you are foolish. In 2020 or 2021 it should not take this long to make glasses and ship them to the customer. If it will take this long please let me know before I place my order so I will be sure not to place my order. Telling me to lay off this company tells me that you are ok with a company making promises to its customers yet having no intention of fulfilling those promises. If you are really ok with this wait then it appears that you really don't depend on your glasses daily to live or conduct your business. This is not a good company to do business with and this is not how you treat customers. Miraculously as a courtesy to me VSP is allowing me to go to a local Optometrist here in Charlotte and they are covering the total expense of my glasses since its been so long and no one can even guarantee when or if I will ever receive my glasses from Eyeconic. Keep in mind though I did ask when does this become insurance fraud since Eyeconic used my benefits and got or is getting paid from VSP yet the services have not been rendered. They can't keep blaming the delay on Covid either. Plenty other business have learned to adapt to provide their respective services to their customers. Eyeconic does not need to reach out to me or verify if I'm real or not. They allegedly wanted my order number after my first review to follow up with me. I gladly provided that information in the email they sent me on 1-25-21 and no one ever reached out to me. So that let me know they could care less about customer service. Please tell all your friends, family, and co workers to run far away from this company.
Ordered my glasses on December 30, 2020. It is now February 1, 2021 and the glasses are still pending. So far, the wait has been 4.5 weeks. I was told yesterday that they should probably ship next week. Ridiculous. The COVID-19 excuse can only carry so far.
It has been ten days since I have ordered. Yes at times, the phone times are 1.5-2hrs, however, if you call right when they open, you get right through. I have no issues with them outsourcing the lab, A jack of all trades is a master of none. I can be patient and wait for my glasses to come, it is not THAT big of a deal. Not like other people on this site are making it. The reps that I have spoken with have been nothing but nice and helpful throughout the process. All of these reviews are so negative, and just for the speed of service? Do you want them to rush things and screw up your glasses? Do you want them to take their time and make sure it is done right? Done right is my opinion as should all of yours. long story short, lay off this company, they are doing the best they can to fulfill orders in as timely of a manner as possible. If you are not willing to wait, please learn about this little thing called patience! If it takes 45 days to get my glasses, I am fine with it, as long as they are right.
Order placed Seven weeks ago… I can’t get any information from Eyeconic. Except the usual “order pending.” I will spread the word far and wide among my retired federal colleagues to avoid this company. They will spread the word as well.
